Come by Pulpery to start some seeds for your own natural dye garden with beautiful flowers and plants that attract pollinators!
Megan Lawson, natural dye artist and professional gardener, has gathered seeds from a selection of beginner-friendly plants to help you start your own flower garden. These flowers are lovely and attract beneficial pollinators. Even better, these plants can be cut, dried and used as natural dyes in your future creative endeavors!
Learn how to start seeds. We will be focusing on 5 plants but you will receive a longer list of easy-to-grow plants for natural dyeing.
Get an overview of harvesting & drying plants.
Discuss the basic steps of natural dyeing.
Take home a small tray of planted seeds and instructions to grow them successfully in pots or a flower bed!
This workshop is 1.5 hours long with a maximum of 8 participants (12 years and older.)
