Mosaic Keepsakes
Saturday, April 26 (2:30-4:30PM)
In this class, you can create a one-of-a-kind piece of mosaic art from a variety of knick-knacks and air-dry clay!
Teaching artist, Blair Orndorf, will provide a large selection of small objects, including ceramic pieces, shells, sea glass, and pendants. She will guide you through sculpting a plate or vessel from air dry clay, then inlaying your mosaic into the piece.
You are also welcome to bring your own personal artifacts to incorporate into your artwork. Through the process of selecting and arranging mosaic pieces, we can symbolically represent our experiences, emotions, and memories.
Otherwise, all materials are provided. This workshop is 2 hours long with a maximum of 8 participants (12 years and older.)
