Cast Pewter Ornaments
Thursday, November 21, (6:30-8pm)
Design your own sculpted metal decoration in this workshop!
Work with teaching artist, Naomi Popiel to sketch ideas for the central pewter pendant of your ornament. You'll learn how to use jewelry wax to carve a 3-dimensional negative mold.
Alongside the carving process, dig through a variety of beads and charms to dangle from your pendant.
After the workshop, your wax carving will be sand casted with pewter by Naomi in her studio. Once the pendants are ready, each participant will schedule a time to assemble their final art piece at Pulpery in Old City.
This workshop is 1.5 hours long with a maximum of 6 participants (12 years and older.)
